The Fenton’s Debate Project is a literacy project which seeks to expose students to transformational experience by making them excellent readers and researchers whiles developing their communication skills and confidence through debate competitions. The project is opened to all Edify E-reader partner schools.

The regional competition took place in May. On June 18, 2018, the maiden national championship edition took place at Maison Francaise at the University of Ghana Legon. It brought together schools in Western, Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions to compete for both the semi-finals and finals themes. All 4 schools competed in the semi-finals on the theme “Education Technology is the Gateway to 21st Century Skills”.

At the end of the round, 2 schools; Comfort Academy and Zion Praise made it to the finals. They competed on the theme “Christ-Centered Education is Quality Education”.

Zion Praise Educational Complex lifted the trophy as they vehemently spoke for the motion.
