Christian Transformation and Training Officer

 

Deborah Azu joined Edify in February 2016. Her role is to work with training partners in training school leaders and teachers towards Christ-centered education. She is responsible for developing content material for school worship, discipleship clubs and school chaplaincy enhancement training programs. 

Prior to this, she worked as a missionary and teacher in Sierra Leone and some villages in Northern Ghana. She worked with “Operation Serve” mission project towards kindling social and spiritual transformation in four villages in Northern Ghana. Deborah holds a degree in English from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her core goal is to convey excellence through discipline and sharing of the Word of God.

The Edify Leadership Institute is an annual school leadership conference led by the Education transformation department of Edify which creates a platform for school leaders to share best practices, cross-fertilize ideas be abreast with global best practices and methodologies.

The ELI conference is designed for all school proprietors, head teachers and school administrators who have participated in any of Edify school leadership trainings or are seeking for a continued education tool for capacity building and professional development in educational leadership.
